Dainese is set to release its new air-bag-equipped suits by 2010 – a full 10 years after development of the system began. Dainese’s D-Tec system is the first airbag from a major protective bike cloting manufacturer, although small companies have released jackets with cruder activation systems.

Either way, Before we know it we’ll be riding electric bikes with safer than ever airbag-suits. Now we only need to make sure all the others on the road start paying some respect to us 2 wheel junkies. We make sure we don’t take up too much space on the roads, we risk our lives every day during work-home traffic AND we keep an eye on everyone on the road and where we can we try to help out fellow motorists.
